MARRIAGE IS MORE THAN LOVE

Reading about the marriage break up of Bill & Melinda gates “Gbèmi nì handicap o”  and I know this raises a lot of questions in the minds of everyone……

Pls understand this;

There is more to Marriage than just 2 people being and falling In love, those 4 letter words become inconsequential when the right ingredients and strictures are not intentionally and consistently put in place. While they did not give us (their online in-laws enough details) it’s important to know that,
2 amazingly great people can be in a bad marriage and might have tried everything that they humanly can or know to do, but it’s still not working……

However, 2 imperfect people can have a perfect marriage that is admired by others because they have chosen to make it work against all odds…..

What I’ve come to realize in my many years as a therapist is that, when someone decides to walk away from a marriage physically is not when they actually left, most times, they have left emotionally for years and just finally summoned the courage to physically drag themselves out of it…..Nothing really happens overnight! There’s always a build-up.

So, when you read about people that have decided to end their marriage, don’t jump to a conclusion on all the negativities of why MARRIAGE IS A SCAM, maybe marriage is not for all of us “wee you keep kwaayet!

Marriage is a beautiful thing and some people are having it all.

Put in the work daily to nurture and make the best out of your own…..Nobody is your relationship goal.

I know with this news, a lot of people might be reacting to it and decide to end theirs too because, if the GATES of this world can have a breakup, with all the access, money and power that they have, who you be abi? “Continue o……weldone sir” you no go face your front and water your own garden!
