SEX LUBRICANTS PROS AND CONS
Before I go into my sessions, Webinars, and speaking engagements for today, let me just drop this wisdom here, so that you people can “Joitz things down” in the voice of “Josh2funny”
Like I mentioned in my previous post, there are different types of Lubricants (Not engine oil o )
To make this conversation a lot easier for you to understand, think of Lubricants like your moisturizers…..if you don’t cream your body after sometimes, what happens?
These are the different types of Lubes :
Water-based lubricant, Silicone-based lubricant, Oil-based lubricants, Natural lubricant.
*Water-based lubricant*
Water-based lubricants are the most common. They come in two varieties: with glycerin, which has a slightly sweet taste, or without glycerin.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬
Both types of water-based lubricants are cost-effective, easy to find, and safe to use with condoms. They typically don’t stain sheets, either.

Flavored or warming lubricants often contain glycerin. Although these products have their perks, they dry out quickly
Because of their sugar content, they’re also known to contribute to yeast infections.

Silicone-based lubricants are odorless and tasteless, slippery and smooth.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐬
Silicone-based lubricants last the longest out of any lubricant. They don’t need to be reapplied as often as water-based lubricants.
They’re safe to use with latex condoms and — if you’re in the mood for a steamy shower session —it shall hold up underwater.
𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬
Some of the pros of silicone-based lubricant are also its cons. This type of lubricant may last longer, but it’s harder to wash off. You’ll need to give the area a soapy scrub to remove any residue.
Silicone-based lubricants aren’t recommended for silicone sex toys because it can break them down, making them gummy and gross over time.
To be continued in next post…..*because Hand don dey pain me to type o”
