Women taking antibiotics after having unprotected sexual intercourse to prevent pregnancy are wasting their time and money o, antibiotics can’t be used as contraceptives, there is no scientific evidence to back their effectiveness in preventing pregnancy, even when used immediately after sexual intercourse.

If you’re in the habit of regular intake of antibiotics, pls know that you’re at risk of destroying important vaginal flora (good bacteria) and when you consistently do this, you start to develop infections that are resistant to antibiotics.

A healthy vaginal flora protects the body against urogenital infections. (I’ll do another post on this soon)
